Application Deadlines

For domestic students, there is no deadline for admission. However, many departments have deadlines, especially for financial assistance. Refer to the program of study to determine its deadline. You should apply at least nine months prior to the desired term of entry and allow at least three weeks for an application to reach the department.

Admission is for a specific semester. If you do not enter that semester, your application and materials will remain on file for one year. After that time, you must repeat the application process. Contact the Office of Graduate and International Admissions if you want to change the entry term. Some programs may have restrictions on entry terms.

International Student Application Deadlines

For international students, the application and admission deadlines are:

Summer	November 1	March 15

* File Completion Deadline means that by the date listed, all application materials must be received, the department must make a decision, and any conditions placed on an offer of admission must be satisfied by this date.

The processing and retention of documents cannot be guaranteed if no application exists in our system.
