Get to Know Our Colleges & Schools
UT is ranked among the nation’s top public universities (U.S. News & World Report 2015 rankings), among other bragging rights. UT’s Haslam College of Business undergraduate business program ranks 30th among all public universities and 50th among all of America’s business schools. Our College of Engineering ranks 36th among all public universities. And these are just some of the highlights.
Here’s how you get in on the action. First, check our list of colleges below. Undergraduates can take classes in nine of our colleges and choose from more than 170 majors and concentrations.
Then decide how you want to customize your course of study—perhaps with a double major, a major and minor, or a special concentration—to meet your academic and professional goals. You can see specific course listings in our online catalog.
If you have yet to make up your mind on what area of study you’re most interested in, no worries! You can be admitted to UT as a University Exploratory Student and will be advised by the College of Arts and Sciences.
