Coordinator of Freshman Recruitment, In State
The people at UT make it the greatest institution in the world where the opportunities are endless! We’ve got such a great and faculty, staff and student body that really make it a great place for anyone. I love Knoxville and UT so much that I stuck around after I got my degree! There’s so much to do in downtown Knoxville and the East Tennessee area. We’ve got great festivals, history, arts, culture, restaurants, outdoor events, and we’re less than 45 minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains!
I attended a very small high school in Missouri so it really helped me get acclimated to a large university like UT by getting involved with student government, being an Orientation Leader, and an Ambassador. There are so many ways to get involved at UT to make Knoxville and the campus feel like your second home. Selecting a university is one of the most important decisions you can make and I’m so glad to be a part of that!
