Overnight Visit Program for Tennessee Promise Schools

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions cordially invites you to apply to participate in the UT Overnight Visit Program for Tennessee Promise Schools on Friday and Saturday, September 18 &19, 2009. Admissions is providing round-trip transportation to and from the Knoxville campus, overnight lodging, and meals while on campus for a select group of qualified seniors who attend a TN Promise High School and have applied for admission for fall 2010.

The Overnight Visit Program for Tennessee Promise Schools will be an awesome two-day experience that will acclimate students to the many features UT has to offer in the areas of academics, financial aid, and student life. You will have the opportunity to meet and speak with a variety of UT faculty, staff, and students, participate in student life activities, and take tours of the campus and residence halls.

Note: Participants (TN Promise seniors) will be selected from our pool of applicants based on their core GPA from their 6 semesters' transcript and date of registration. Only TN Promise students who have submitted a Fall 2010 application will be selected. It is the student’s responsibility to submit an official copy of their transcript; however, Admissions staff will attempt to work with guidance counselors to facilitate this process.

More information regarding the TN Promise Scholarship can be found at the Financial Aid website.
