My hometown is...
Watertown, TN

How long have I been at UT?
I spent 4 ½ years at UT as an undergraduate student, and I’m excited to begin my first year as an Admissions Counselor.

My favorite thing about being an Admissions Counselor at Tennessee...
I love working with and informing prospective students and their families about the University of Tennessee. I am very passionate about UT and everything the university has to offer, and I love being able to share my passion with others.

My favorite UT campus tradition...
My favorite UT tradition would have to be painting The Rock. The Rock is the only place on campus where graffiti is allowed. From proposals to birthday wishes to artwork to rallying cries…The Rock has seen it all over 40 years. I also love when the Pride of the Southland Band takes the field before a football game. I get goose-bumps every time!

Note: UT recently moved The Rock to make room for a new Student Health Center, and it was quite the event—you can learn more about this campus tradition on its very own page.

My favorite UT website...
One of my favorites is the A-Z Index. You can find any and everything on this website both quickly and easily. You’ll soon learn that the A-Z Index can be your best friend. I’m also a big fan of utsports.com to keep up with my Vols. This site has the all the latest news, photos, and videos of all the Big Orange teams.

Knoxville “Must Do and/or See” Locations
Must See— A UT athletic event. It doesn’t matter which sport you go see, whether it’s the Lady Vols or Men’s Basketball, or a night game in Neyland Stadium—you have to do it. There is no experience in the world like it.

Must Visit— Market Square in Downtown Knoxville. The shops and restaurants are all so cute and unique. Try Rita’s for some amazing shaved ice or Trio for a delicious lunch or dinner.

Must Visit— Nama Sushi Bar. Nama is the place to go in Knoxville for sushi. Nama’s the perfect place for your first sushi experience or a dinner with friends.

What I do in my "free" time...
During my free time I love spending time with my friends and family, going to the lake, reading, and have a new found love for running. You probably wouldn’t expect it, but I’m a pretty big sports nut and love going to different sporting events. I’m also a sucker for reality TV shows.

What makes UT such a great place?
UT is so great because there is something for everyone. UT’s also everything you could want in a University. It has the school spirit, a large diverse student population, passionate faculty and staff, small classroom size, strong academics, numerous ways to get involved, and nationally recognized athletic teams. The excitement and opportunities at UT are endless. GO VOLS!
