My hometown is...
I’m a true East Tennessean! I was born in Knoxville, raised in Norris and am now proud to call Powell, TN my home!
How long have I been at UT?
I have been in the admissions office at Tennessee for 31 years! I can’t think of a better place to have spent my career.
My favorite thing about being an Associate Director of Admissions at UT...
Having spent a few years at Tennessee, I have been able to witness and experience so much growth and change as the university continues to push forward into the future.
My favorite UT campus tradition...
One of the most historic buildings on campus, Ayres Hall, has a bell tower. Every afternoon at 5 pm, you can hear the bells chiming all over campus.
My favorite UT website...
The UT baseball site! As the parent of a former baseball athlete, I LOVE watching baseball and cheering for the Diamond Vols! I also enjoy the Business Advising website as my daughter continues the family tradition of working at UT!
Knoxville “Must Do and/or See” Locations
Norris Lake is about 40 minutes from campus and is probably the prettiest lake in East Tennessee. I love visiting Norris Dam State Park and enjoying all of the wildlife, scenery, and places to relax.
What I do in my "free" time...
I love to scrapbook and spend time volunteering at my church!
What makes UT such a great place?
The atmosphere at UT is exciting! There are always new projects in the works and our faculty are leading the way into the future with their research. Our students also benefit from working side by side with some of the best faculty and researchers in the nation.
