My hometown is...
Morristown, Tennessee
How long have I been at UT?
4 years as an undergrad
2 ½ years at UT Upward Bound
Going on my 3rd year in Admissions
My favorite thing about being an Assistant Director at Tennessee...
Being on campus every day and not having to take tests or write papers anymore. Also, working with the Orange Pride to recruit the best and brightest both on the field and in the classroom
My favorite UT campus tradition...
When the Pride of the Southland starts to form the “T” and then the VOLS run through the “T” in Neyland Stadium. There is nothing else like it in College Football! I’m a big fan of the VOL walk, ORANGE, and ROCKY TOP too!
My favorite UT website...
I use www.utsports.com to find out the latest news about athletics at UT, and the A-Z index is how I find everything on the main site quickly.
Knoxville “Must Do and/or See” Locations
- Must see Neyland Stadium and the Vols on a fall Saturday
- Must take a date to Volunteer Landing on an evening when it isn’t packed for an event or go on a night ride on the riverboat
- Must visit the KMA
- Must hear the Ayers Hall chimes play the Tennessee Waltz at 5pm
- Must get French fries at Gus’s
What I do in my "free" time...
Spend time with friends and family, check out local bands, concerts, sporting events
What makes UT such a great place?
Rocky Top has been home to me since 1996 and there is no place I’d rather be! I think UT offers students the best in all areas. You’ll find a strong curriculum and be competitive in the job market. You’ll meet diverse people, make lasting and amazing friendships, and develop strong relationships with faculty and staff. You’ll find plenty of ways to spend your free time and fill your social calendars. You’ll enjoy a calm climate and the luxury of being centrally located to so many cities of interest. Plus, you can wear orange every day and nobody will think it is bizarre!
