My hometown is...
Springfield, IL
How long have I been at UT?
16 years
My favorite thing about being Assistant Director...
As an Assistant Director, I enjoy meeting with prospective students and their families whether it is in our office, through an Information Session or at a college fair. These meetings provide me an opportunity to get to know students and inform them of the many possibilities the University of Tennessee offers its students.
My favorite UT campus tradition...
The UT spirit is my favorite UT tradition. There is such a variety of campus activities for students to choose. They are given the opportunity to be involved in events and organizations that energize them and speak to their individual interests and as a result the campus really comes alive with their enthusiasm.
My favorite UT website...
I enjoy the main page of our website the most because it continually provides information about the many facets of the University community and never fails to educate the reader.
Knoxville “Must Do and/or See” Locations
A must do for any hamburger lover when they visit Knoxville is to go to Litton’s, a local restaurant with the best burgers, fries and desserts.
What I do in my "free" time...
My free time is spent with my family that includes my husband of nearly 25 years and our teenage twin daughters. We also possess one of the most spoiled cardigan welsh corgis in East Tennessee named Rosie and a very content gold fish named Mr. Bubbles.
What makes UT such a great place?
UT is a great choice for students for so many reasons. Its location at the base of the Smoky Mountains, 110 majors, award winning faculty, championship athletic teams, 450 organization and clubs are just a few of the reasons UT is considered such a premium choice for a college education.
