Student Admissions Groups
ME4UT (Minority Enhancement for The University of Tennessee)
Part of UT's goal of attaining recognition as a top 25 research institution includes recruiting and maintaining a diverse student population. ME4UT assists the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to both recruit and build relationships with minority students who are interested in attending the The University of Tennessee. ME4UT is also responsible for the planning and implementation of on-campus programming for prospective minority students.
The ME4UT Membership Drive will be held March 23, 2008- April 2, 2008. During this time, interested applicants will find applications available in the Black Cultural Center, 320 Student Services, and online. Applications should be turned into 320 Student Services Building by 5pm on April 2nd. After this deadline, applicants will be notified via email with further information.

UTAS (UT Ambassador Scholars)
The University of Tennessee Ambassador Scholars are the principal student liaisons for prospective students and their parents visiting the UT campus. These students play an integral role in UT's Campus Visit Program as they lead daily campus tours for visiting families and give the student perspective on life at UT. Ambassadors are representatives and hosts of the university in many other ways, including leading campus tours and working in many other roles at major on-campus recruiting events throughout the year.

Orange Pride
Orange Pride is a new student group that meets with and provides important information to prospective athletes and their families. Members have the opportunity to share their knowledge of UT and its great traditions, including its outstanding varsity athletic programs. Most Orange Pride responsibilities currently are in the fall semester, but members also represent the Office of Undergraduate Admissions by providing assistance with special programs and greeting tours throughout the year.
