Welcome, counselors!

Your students will have the opportunity to flourish and grow within our university community. As a leader in the state and in our region, UT continues to be ranked as a top public university. As a major research university offering over 170 majors, concentrations, and specializations, our student body is quite large, but 72% of our classes are capped at 30 or fewer students. In addition, our students have access to a variety of support services that are available to help them achieve their goals both inside and outside the classroom. Students can also choose to create their own individual academic experiences by working with faculty mentors and participating in cutting edge research.

This fall, from September 19-28, The University of Tennessee will host the annual statewide Conferences for Counselors. The Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Martin campuses will present updates on their academic programs and admission policies in this newly designed program intended to give you a broader view of the UT system. Invitations will be mailed in early August with details and a link to online registration.
