| • 75% of all classes at the University of Tennessee have 30 or fewer students. • All students receive individual academic advising each semester before registering for class. • Freshmen have the option of taking First Year Studies, a small class during the fall that orients students to the campus and college life; or Exploring Majors and Careers, a class that exposes students to the many academic and professional opportunities available to them. • There are 1,200 faculty members here at the University of Tennessee.
