| • UT has 26,000 students--20,000 undergraduates and 6,000 graduate students. We promote diversity here, with students from every state in the nation, approximately 100 countries, and a minority population of 10%. • In order to raise cultural awareness, the International House hosts an array of events, from salsa lessons to an African fashion show. The International House also serves as a support system for international students to help them become acclimated to the U.S. • John Hodges Library is the largest library in Tennessee and one of the largest in the Southeast. The library contains over 2 million books, 15,000 periodicals, and 1,000 study carrels. The library is also the home of the largest computer lab on campus, which has over 60 computers (both IBM and MAC). |
