Programs for High-Achieving High School Students
Are you a bright hard worker with high ACT and SAT scores? Make sure the testing companies send us your scores because we want you to change the world as a UT student. If you made at least a 30 on the ACT or a 1330 on the SAT (CR+M), we will invite you and your family to our fall high-achieving student events to learn more about our campus.
Get a focused experience of our honors programs, academic colleges, study abroad opportunities, and health profession studies at the day-long Scholars Invitational. We host students and parents at three Scholars Invitationals in the fall. Invitations are mailed in early September. The event includes academic showcases; presentations and lunches with honors students; parent lunches with UT faculty, staff, and advisors; an extensive browse session; and special sessions on studying in other countries and majoring in a health profession track.
Alumni Hosted Receptions
Each fall, we bring a taste of the UT honors student experience to a Tennessee city near you. The Volunteer Alumni Network helps coordinate and host events on weekends and evenings at community centers and private homes across the state. Our faculty, staff, and honors students meet with you and share what it’s like to pursue this field of study.
