Applicants who have earned a bachelor’s degree may apply for admission as non-degree seeking students. If you have previously enrolled at UT, you will need to complete a readmission application.
Non-degree applicants must set up a VIP account, complete and submit a non-degree application online, and pay the $50 application fee electronically by the following deadlines:
|Fall||Spring||Summer (1st session)||Summer (2nd session)|
|August 5||December 5||May 15||June 15|
Availability of courses is not guaranteed. Applying early will help ensure that you’re able to register for the classes you want to take. The timetable of classes has lists of classes with the times for upcoming semesters. Courses that have prerequisites may not be available to non-degree students without proof that you have completed prerequisite college course work.
Non-degree seeking students who decide to pursue a degree program at UT must submit an application for undergraduate or graduate admission.
Note: If you plan to enroll as an undergraduate non-degree seeking student before applying for graduate admission, the courses you complete as an undergraduate non-degree seeking student will not count toward your intended graduate degree. Non-degree seeking students are not eligible to receive federal or state financial aid or merit-based or need-based scholarships from UT.
