Step two: Confirm your enrollment.
Complete the confirmation form and pay the nonrefundable enrollment deposit, or print and return the enrollment confirmation form
along with your deposit, to secure your place in the entering 2012 class!
When you confirm and pay the enrollment deposit, you will then:
- Receive a housing contract by e-mail. You may then request your campus housing for next year.
- Be able to register for a student orientation session for next summer.
If your confirmation and deposit are not received online or postmarked by May 1, 2012, your offer of admission will be cancelled.
Step three: Campus housing & orientation
After you confirm, you can register for Student Orientation, and you will receive your campus housing contract by e-mail. Complete these steps to select your Orientation date and indicate your housing preference, both of which may be done at the same time.
- All single, enrolled freshmen who do not commute from the primary residence of their parent or legal guardian are required to live in university residence halls.
- Your housing contract confirmation and preferences selection information will be sent to your UT e-mail account, shortly after you have paid your enrollment confirmation deposit. Important information for students who wish to appeal to commute will be included in the e-mail, as well.
- You may confirm your housing/dining contract at any time, but the earlier the better. Priority for housing assignment is based on the date your enrollment confirmation deposit is received.
- Confirm your contract and complete the preferences information to receive an assignment.
- For all questions about housing assignments, please contact University Housing at 865-974-2571, e-mail housing@utk.edu, or visit uthousing.utk.edu.
