Working in higher education is deeply meaningful to me as a first-generation student because I know firsthand how transformative a university experience can be. Higher education broadened my perspective, opened doors I never knew existed, and shaped my future in ways I couldn’t have imagined. Now, I want to give others that same opportunity—by connecting prospective students with the resources, support, and inspiration they need to see how higher education can transform their lives. Helping students realize their potential and achieve their goals is not just a job; it’s a way to give back and create lasting change.
Fun Fact: I lived in Wuxi, China, for four years. While living there, I adopted two cats, both of which moved back to the U.S. with me.
