AP, CLEP, IB, Cambridge, Statewide Dual Credit, and Specific Industry Certification Exam
Good scores on college placement exams are not required for admission to UT. However, they can earn you college credit and a head start on your academic career. You should check this web page often because there are frequent changes to these credits.
A complete list of academic disciplines and codes can be found in the Undergraduate Catalog.
UT does not award credit for DSST Exams; however, students may earn college credit for CLEP exams taken through the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES).
