Payment for Spring 2025
Your payment for the Spring 2025 Semester is due on January 13. It’s easiest to pay online in your MyUTK account. Visit our webpage at tiny.utk.edu/pay to learn more about ways to pay for the Spring 2025 semester.
You can choose to pay your balance in full or enroll in the Deferred Payment Plan to make your payments more manageable during the semester. When you enroll in the payment plan, half of your balance is due on January 13. The next two payments are due in February and March. Learn more about the Deferred Payment Plan here.
Remember to set up an Authorized User (AU)! You can designate someone to be an AU in your MyUTK account. AUs can communicate with One Stop about your financial aid, billing statements, payments and more. Having an AU helps you stay on track with payments throughout your time at UT. You can learn more about setting up an AU on your account here.
Make an appointment with the Center for Financial Wellness (CFW) to set yourself up for success during your time on Rocky Top and beyond. The CFW is a resource at UT that helps you learn how to manage your personal finances. You can schedule in-person or virtual appointments with a financial wellness coach, learn financial basics like creating a spending plan or how to manage student loans, or attend workshops about topics like preparing for life after college or understanding your first paycheck.
Your Spring Prep Checklist*
- December 9
- Third Party Sponsors/Billing form due
- 529s must be requested from financial institutions
- Alternative loan process must be completed
- PLUS loan process must be completed
- Submit any applicable External Scholarships
- December 13: Submit any necessary SAP Appeals or Scholarship Appeals
- January 6
- Accept any Direct Student Loans you want to take in your MyUTK account
- Submit any applicable Fee Waivers
- January 10: Complete a Volcard Transfer

- This on-campus resource empowers students with essential financial literacy skills and personalized guidance to effectively manage their finances and achieve long-term financial stability. Schedule a time to meet with a CFW coach who can help you make a spending plan, learn more about loan repayment options, and more!
