Rocky Top Tailgate is a unique opportunity for hopeful Volunteers to see campus transform on game day and experience our Tennessee traditions. It’s the perfect mix of Neyland Stadium energy and the welcoming spirit of our Volunteer community!
Rocky Top Tailgate is where the Volunteer spirit comes alive! Step into the heart of gameday with a high-energy campus tour led by our student ambassadors, then fuel up with delicious tailgate bites and chat with Admissions staff to answer all your questions. With music from a live DJ, exciting games, and plenty of Instagram-worthy photo ops, it’s the perfect way to experience the Volunteer spirit!
Once you’ve seen our beautiful campus, it’s time for a Tennessee tailgate! Enjoy classic game day food, participate in fun activities, and meet other prospective students and families. Then, head into our largest classroom on campus (which happens to be one of the most iconic stadiums in college football)—Neyland Stadium. Join over 102,400 fans to cheer on the Vols, take in the “Vol Walk,” two hours before kickoff, and sing along as Rocky Top floats through the air. It’s a day full of tradition, excitement, and Big Orange pride that will stay with you long after you return home!
