Transcript Instructions for Admitted Students
Take the next—and important—step to becoming a Vol!
After you confirm enrollment, the university needs to verify the self-reported high school grades and standardized test scores you included on your application. Please provide these official documents by July 1* to finalize admission and any financial aid and scholarships that may have been offered to you.
*If you do not anticipate having your final high school transcript until after July 1, please see instructions below.
You can view the status of your verified documents and your final high school transcripts by logging into your Go Vols Portal.
Sending Final High School Transcripts
Your final high school transcript will need to come directly from your high school counselor. The high school counselors can submit final high school transcripts through one of the following ways:
- Parchment Express (Naviance)
- The Common App
- Upload to Slate.org
- Submit through SCOIR
- National Student Clearinghouse
- Email an official copy to Undergrad Transcripts
Mail an official transcript in a sealed envelope to the following address:

*If you do not anticipate having your final high school transcript until after July 1, let us know by logging into your Go Vols Portal, navigating to the GPA & Tests tab, and complete the “Delayed Final High School Transcript” form.
Sending Verified Test Scores
You can provide your official ACT or SAT test scores through one of the following ways:
- Upload copies of your verified test scores to your Go Vols Portal. Select the drop down menu under the “Required Document” section of the GPA and Tests tab.
- Request the ACT or SAT to send scores to our office. You can ask the applicable testing agency to send your verified scores straight to us for a monetary fee.
If you find errors when uploading your report and your numbers do not match due to an incorrect data entry, email utkapplications@utk.edu.
