Take the next—and important—step to becoming a Vol!
Even if you self-reported your high school transcript and/or verified test scores (if applicable) through the Self-Reported Academic Report (or SRAR) during the application process, the university still needs to receive your verified documents by July 1* to finalize admission and any financial aid and scholarships that may have been offered to you.
*If you do not anticipate having your final high school transcript until after July 1, please see instructions below.
You can view the status of your verified documents and your final high school transcripts by logging into your Go Vols Portal.
Sending Final High School Transcripts
Your final high school transcript will need to come directly from your high school counselor. The high school counselors can submit final high school transcripts through one of the following ways:
- Through Parchment Express (Naviance)
- Through the Common App
- Upload to Slate.org
- Submit through SCOIR
- Through National Student Clearinghouse
- Email an official copy to undergradtranscripts@utk.edu
- Mail an official transcript in a sealed envelope to the following address:

*If you do not anticipate having your final high school transcript until after July 1, let us know by logging into your Go Vols Portal, navigating to the GPA & Tests tab, and filling out the form titled “Delayed Final High School Transcript Submission.”
Sending Verified Test Scores
- Request the ACT or SAT to send scores to our office. You can ask the applicable testing agency to send your verified scores straight to us for a monetary fee.
- Upload to your Go Vols Portal. If you have your verified test scores, you can upload copies of them to your Go Vols Portal. Select the drop down menu under the “Required Documents” section of the GPA and Tests tab.

Frequently Asked Questions
It is important for the university to receive your final high school transcript and/or verified test scores so we can verify the information submitted on your application for admission. Incorrect information can affect things like your financial aid or even your admission as a whole.
Undergraduate Admissions must be able to verify information you self-reported on your application using your final high school transcript and verified test scores (if applicable) to finalize your financial aid and admission to UT.
If we do not receive your final high school transcript and/or verified test scores, you will not receive scholarships or financial aid and risk losing your admission status.

If you know that your documents won’t be available prior to July 1, please follow the below steps:
- Log into your Go Vols Portal.
- Navigate to the “GPA & Tests” tab.
- Fill out the form titled “Delayed Final High School Transcript Submission.”
- You will know we have received your final high school transcript when the checklist item on your Go Vols Portal under “Next Steps” has a green checkmark next to it.
- You will know we have received your official test scores when you navigate to the “GPA & Tests” tab on your Go Vols Portal and see a “Verified” next to your submitted test scores.
